Second Sunday of Lent
SERMON: Jesus' Mission Statement
SCRIPTURE: Luke 4:14-30
RESPONSIVE READING—Micah 6:6-8
Leader: With what shall I come before the Lord, and bow myself before God on high?
Everyone: Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
Leader: Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with ten thousands of rivers of oil?
Everyone: Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Leader: He has told you O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you?
Everyone: but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with you God

people away. Neither Do We.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
