SERMON: The Road of Love
SCRIPTURE: Romans 12:1-21
RESPONSIVE READING—I Corinthians 12:27-31
Leader: Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.
Everyone: And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers; then deeds of power, then gifts of healing, forms of assistance, forms of leadership, various kinds of tongues
Leader: Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?Everyone: Do all possess gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?Leader: But strive for greater gifts and I will show you a still more excellent way.
AFFIRMATION OF FAITH—CCNB MISSION STATEMENT
Embracing God's gift of Jesus' life as our example, and the Holy Spirit as our guide that attracts, welcomes, serves and supports all ages and all people, ever challenged to live in harmony and joy with greater faith, hope and love. THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
